Spring is in the air, which means its time to for a little spring cleaning. Here are “three Rs” to help you tidy things up around your property: Refresh, rejuvenate, and renew.
Refresh:
Start with your property’s entryway. Freshen up the front table with a colorful flower arrangement, make sure interior plants are getting adequate water and sunlight, and wipe away any marks on the walls or floor that may have shown up over the winter. A fresh coat of paint couldn’t hurt, either.
Rejuvenate:
A pressure wash will do miracles when it comes to making things sparkle under the sun (or anticipated sun for that matter in Seattle). And now is a great time to update flower beds and other landscaping, too.
Renew:
Review and renew your lease agreements to ensure that your rental-increase schedule is up to date an in line with the local market. Be sure to check in with those tenants who have been with you for years, too — you don’t want anyone feeling ignored. Be sure to thank your residents for their loyalty, and remind them of the services your office offers and that you’re there to help make apartment life happy and comfortable for them.
By following the “three Rs,” your property will project a lively and happy property atmosphere that is sure to attract and retain more tenants.
