We Beat the Bridge Again! PCRE runs for a cure
PCRE helps raise $1.3 million for diabetes research
For the second year in a row, employees and supporters of Pacific Crest Real Estate participated in Nordstrom’s Beat the Bridge race, helping to raise a whopping $1.3 million to benefit diabetes research. Held on May 17, 2015, there was a 8k run, 4-mile walk, 1-mile Fun Run — so something for everyone.
We’d like to thank everyone who participated with us and who donated. If you haven’t yet, there’s still time to make a donation and help reach the fundraising goal of $1.8 million. And don’t forget to include information about matching gifts from your employer!
According to the event’s website:
[The] mission is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications through the support of research. Every dollar we are able to direct toward this critical research comes from donors like you. Your generosity to JDRF makes life-changing progress possible and propels us toward our goal of a world without T1D.
Your tax-deductible gift today will help us continue our work to bring life-changing treatments and therapies to the millions of people living with T1D until we find a cure.
As we said last year, “We hope that our fundraising efforts will assist in ultimately turning Type One into Type None.”
See you at the races in 2016!
